Question 1

What do I actually get?

Accepted Answer

A report on your newest uploads: a risk score with the reasons behind it, the title templates, pasted description blocks, repeated openings and look-alike thumbnails it found, your five samiest videos ranked, and a fresh title and description for every video that needs one.

Question 2

How do I know the rewrites won’t just be samey too?

Accepted Answer

Every rewrite is checked against every other rewrite and against the rest of your channel before you see it. Anything too close to another title, still using an old template, or opening the same way gets rewritten again. If one still isn’t clean, it’s marked “check” instead of being passed off as fixed.

Question 3

How long does it take?

Accepted Answer

Usually a few minutes after you pay. The link to your report arrives by email.

Question 4

Do you need my login?

Accepted Answer

Not for the audit. You paste your public channel link at checkout. On Pro, applying fixes uses Google’s own sign-in screen. We never see your password, and you can remove access from your Google account at any time.

Question 5

Why the newest uploads?

Accepted Answer

Because that’s where a reviewer looks. YouTube says reviews focus on your newest videos, your most-viewed ones and your channel’s main theme. The audit checks your newest 50; Pro checks 200.

Question 6

Will this keep my channel monetised?

Accepted Answer

No one can promise that, and be wary of anyone who does. YouTube makes the final call. Samey removes the patterns that make a channel look mass-produced, so a reviewer sees individually made videos.

Question 7

Is YouTube banning AI channels?

Accepted Answer

No. YouTube has said using AI is fine. What it won’t pay for is content that’s mass-produced, generic or repetitive, whoever made it. That’s exactly what Samey finds and fixes.

Question 8

What’s the “inauthentic content” policy?

Accepted Answer

Since July 2025 it’s YouTube’s name for what it used to call “repetitious content”: videos that look made from a template or churned out at scale. Our plain-English guide on the YouTube rules page explains it.

Question 9

I’ve already been demonetised. Can this help?

Accepted Answer

It shows what probably triggered it and gives you the fixes, which is what you need before you appeal or reapply. It won’t reverse a decision on its own.

Question 10

There are free checkers. Why pay?

Accepted Answer

Free checkers, including ours, tell you there’s a problem. Samey fixes it: it rewrites every samey title and description, checks the rewrites against each other, and on Pro keeps checking every new upload.

Question 11

Audit or Pro?

Accepted Answer

The audit (£49, one-off) gives you the fixes to copy across yourself. Pro covers your newest 200 uploads with rewrites for the 60 samiest, and checks every new upload weekly so the repetition doesn’t creep back. One-click apply to YouTube is coming soon, free for Pro members.

Question 12

What is the founder price?

Accepted Answer

The first 50 Pro channels pay £39/month and keep that price for as long as they stay subscribed. After that, Pro is £59/month.

Question 13

Can I cancel Pro?

Accepted Answer

Yes, any time, from the “Manage subscription” link at the bottom of every page. Sign in with your email and cancel in two clicks. No contracts and no notice period.

Question 14

What if it isn’t useful?

Accepted Answer

Email within 14 days and you get a full refund. No forms, no arguing.

Question 15
