Samey is run by Venturion AI, a company registered in England and Wales (“we”, “us”). This page explains what we collect when you use this site or buy an audit, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, email address and the YouTube channel link you give at checkout.
- Payment: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Public channel data: titles, descriptions and thumbnails that are already public on YouTube, used only to produce your report.
- Pro sign-in: when you apply fixes, Google gives us a short-lived permission to edit your videos’ titles and descriptions. We use it once and don’t store it.
- Free check: the channel link you enter, and a scrambled version of your IP address to stop abuse. We don’t keep your IP address itself.
Why we use it
- To deliver the audit or Pro service you paid for (contract).
- To send you your report and service emails about your order (contract).
- To keep basic financial records, as the law requires (legal obligation).
We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), Google (YouTube data) and Anthropic (the AI that writes the rewrites, which receives your public titles and descriptions). Each acts on our behalf under its own data protection terms. We never ask for, and never hold, your YouTube or Google password.
How long we keep it
Reports and channel data for up to 12 months so you can come back to them, then we delete them. Payment records are kept for 6 years for tax purposes.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Get in touch through the contact page. If you’re unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
This site doesn’t use tracking or advertising cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages.
